• 🔨 New DIY recipes — craftable item pages now show what they're "Crafted from" (and ingredients link to their own pages), and every villager page lists the DIY recipes a villager of that personality might teach you.
• 🏡 Villager pages now show more of each character's bio — which Animal Crossing games they've appeared in, their default outfit, and a readable debut (e.g. "Dōbutsu no Mori" instead of a code).
• ☁️ New Cloud Sync — back up your favorites, island, and every tracker to the cloud, then load them on another device with a short code. No account needed: tap Share to text or AirDrop yourself a link that restores everything with one tap. Find it on the My Island page.
• 🖼️ New Artwork guide — spot Redd's forgeries before you buy! Every painting and statue shows its real and fake versions side by side, with exactly what to look for ("the forgery has a coffee stain in the corner…"). Tap to track what you've donated to the museum.

• 🎨 Furniture colorways — furniture now shows every color variation, just like clothing. Flip through them on the item page or right on the Browse cards, and see which villagers would love each color. (The wooden chair alone comes in 8!)
• 🐟 "Available right now" on the Critters page — flip one toggle to see only the bugs, fish, and sea creatures you can catch this very moment. Each critter now shows its shadow size, too.
• 🤝 New Crossover Collections page — browse Animal Crossing's branded item sets (Zelda, Splatoon, LEGO, Mario, retro Nintendo systems, and the Sanrio friends) all in one place, and see which of your villagers would love each set as a gift. 🎨 Improvements

• 🔧 Tidied up the Browse filters — the furniture "Set" filter now lists just the branded collab sets (Zelda, Mario, Sanrio, LEGO…) instead of ~80 mixed-in furniture types with case-duplicates.
• 🧭 The side menu is now grouped for easier scanning, and "What's New" shows a dot whenever there's an update you haven't read yet.
• 🎨 Item pages now show the colorway you picked — the big image changes with the arrows (it used to stay stuck on the first color).
• 🗂️ Villager gift lists and item matches are now sorted into Perfect / Style / Color tabs instead of one giant scroll — tap a tab to see that group, with a "Show more" for the rest.
• Clothing now shows every way to buy an item — Bells, Poki, Nook Miles, Heart Crystals and more — instead of just Bells.
• Pages now fade in smoothly as you move around, and printing any page hides the menus for a clean printout.
• Faster, lighter pages — villager gift lists and item pages load with a lot less behind-the-scenes weight, so browsing feels snappier.

🐛 Fixes

• 🌙 Dark mode now stays on after you refresh the page — it was resetting to light mode on every reload.
• 🌙 The heart and home buttons on villagers no longer look blank in dark mode, villager pages now show the correct house interior image, and each character's icon gets a subtle accent in their name color.
• 💾 The backup file now saves everything — your critter, artwork, fossil, and turnip progress are included too (it previously only saved favorites, island, and gifts).
• 📱 Browse and villager pages now center properly on phones, and the heart/house buttons on villager cards are tappable on touch (they used to need a mouse hover).
• 🖼️ Character images that sometimes failed to appear on the first visit now retry on their own — no more reloading the page to make them show up.
• 🔎 "View full page" is now an obvious button when you tap an item in Browse, and the detail popup scrolls into view so you can tell it opened.
• 📱 The "Install" banner no longer covers the last few items at the bottom of long pages.
• Furniture now has its own gift pages — open a furniture item from a villager's gift recommendations or from Browse to see every villager who'd love it. (These links used to lead to a dead end.)

• Item detail pages got a colorway carousel with a thumbnail strip — no more scrolling past long villager match lists to find the next color
